Businesses Unite Australia Terms & Conditions

1. Term:
This Agreement begins on the date your Business Submission form and accompanying payment are received by Businesses Unite Australia and continues for 12 months (unless terminated early by either party in accordance with clause 12.

2. Fee/s:
The annual subscription fee as set out in the Business Submission form (Fee) must be paid when submitting the form.
The submitting party must pay the fee associated with the listing of a job opportunity when submitting the job listing. It is the sole responsibility of the business owner to remove the job once filled or no longer available. The listing will be set to a term of validity which Businesses Unite Australia reserves the right to change at any time (CHECK TO SEE IF THIS WILL ALWAYS BE 90 DAYS VALIDITY AND IF WE SHOULD ADD THIS OR KEEP IT SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT CONSULTATION)

3. Cookies:
We sometimes use cookie technology on our website to provide information and services to website visitors. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes and are a necessary part of facilitating online transactions. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies. Cookies are useful to estimate our number of members and determine overall traffic patterns through our websites.

If you do not wish to receive any cookies, you may set your browser to refuse cookies. This may mean you will not be able to take full advantage of the services on the website.

4. Coupons and promotions:
All business applicants acknowledge:
They agree to the fair use of any promotions or coupons provided by Businesses Unite Austra, coupons are valid for one time use unless stated and are not transferable.

5. Businesses Unite Australia’s Rights and Obligations:
Businesses Unite Australia may, in its sole discretion, refuse any application for a listing in the Business Directory or remove any listing from the Business Directory with no liability to you.

Businesses Unite Australia will:
• Have final approval of the content of all listings you submit and any subsequent changes, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld;
• Use its best endeavours to make sure that any downtime of the Website or the Business Directory is kept to a minimum but will not be liable to you for any loss suffered from any such downtime;
• Not modify the content of your listing without your consent.
• Businesses Unite Australia does not represent that listing your business in the Business Directory will increase your business revenue or leads.

Rights and Obligations of Business Owners:
• All business submissions to the directory and any job listings must be within Australia.
• It is the sole responsibility of the business owner who submits the application to check all details are correct before submitting it. Businesses Unite Australia will not take responsibility for any errors made.

6. Listing businesses agree to:
• Hold responsibility for the content of your listing
• Ensure that the content of your listing does not contain any inappropriate or offensive content or other content that would damage the reputation of Business Unite Australia
• Ensure that the content of your listing complies with all applicable laws in Australia
• Monitor your listing at reasonably regular intervals and immediately notify us if your listing is missing from the Business Directory, is incomplete or if there is an error in the listing
• Comply with all reasonable requests of Businesses Unite Australia to change the content of any listing, for example, if a listing does not comply with the requirements in this Agreement.

7. Photos and Information Privacy:
Photos make your listing better noticed and enable your business to be featured in our other marketing channels. When adding images, please ensure:

• they accurately represent your business
• you own the copyright or have permission from the copyright owner;
• you have permission from any people that can be identified in the image;
• if children are identifiable, you have written consent from their parent/guardian. They are taken in a lawful, fair and direct manner.

8. Limitation of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, Businesses Unite Australia will not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including personal injury), loss of profit or opportunity arising out of or in connection with your listing in the Business Directory, whether at common law, under contract, tort (including negligence), in equity, pursuant to statute or otherwise.

9. Indemnity:
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Businesses Unite Australia, its employees and independent contractors against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to any claims, including negligence, made by third parties against Businesses United Australia arising out of a breach or alleged breach of this Agreement or of any representation or warranty contained in this Agreement.

10. Copyright and Acknowledgements:
You must not:

• Republish material from https://businessesunite.com.au/
• Sell, rent or sub-license material from https://businessesunite.com.au/
• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from https://businessesunite.com.au/
• Redistribute content from https://businessesunite.com.au/ (unless content is specifically made for redistribution).

11. Misconduct and Termination:
We, Businesses Unite Australia, reserve the right at any time to remove any listing/s and terminate any subscription if we deem the business listed falls outside of our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, without the obligation of financial reimbursement.

• On termination of this Agreement, Businesses Unite Australia may immediately take down your listing/s from the Business Directory.

• Businesses Unite Australia may in its sole discretion refuse any application for subscription, terminate any existing subscription or refuse any job listing with no liability to you.

12. Terms of conditions:
We may revise this Agreement at any time, and therefore we suggest that you check this Agreement from time to time. We may notify you of any changes by the email address linked to your account, and you agree to accept email communications, links to and/or our posting of any revised Terms of Use on our website, and you agree that any of these means of our communicating a change in the Terms constitutes adequate notice to you. Your continued use of the service indicates your Agreement to be bound by any such revisions.
